However many subsequent portraits painted in her living memory show her wearing a variety of personalised jewellery which was popular at the time – her B necklace, an AB pendant, and an A pendant 🌬 All pieces seem to vanish – except for one which emerges after her death – her A pendant is shown worn by her only daughter, the future Queen Elizabeth the First, leading the assumption that the rest of her jewels were passed on to her daughter too. But what of the other jewels? 💎 Well, fast forward to the modern day, and the most important piece of royal adornment – Queen Elizabeth II’s Imperial State Crown – features large rare pearls.
