The Art of Falling Apart album is not only a personal story about mental wellness, but it is also about advocating for mental wellness on a global scale.
The HeArtwork project shares this intention: it is a grassroots project created by a group of incredible women and community leaders from across the country, with the shared mission to uncover the true stories of diverse women working within corporate Canada. We’re here to talk about the deep emotional and social issues that often prevent women from pursuing leadership roles within the labourforce.
We hear people talking all the time about the need for more women on corporate boards, or more women in leadership roles, but did we ever stop and wonder why some women CHOOSE to opt out of these positions?
HeARTwork is about building a solution that addresses business and policy from a heart-centered space. Through a series of deep-listening practices, research, new economic frameworks, and art…the HeARTwork project represents a movement towards embracing mental wellness as a foundational component for success in business.
