I’m not really that long instagram caption type bitch however I wanted to share this. I was homeless & lived at union station, then I slept in the bathroom on the floor mats of my coffee job, I then graduated to a garage in East LA where the doors would swell shut if it rained and I couldn’t get outside. I’d sleep in 6 jackets and wake up with sawdust on my face, grateful. During that time very few ppl knew bc I didn’t tell them. I went on to sign w/Atlantic & then won a Grammy. You never know what someone’s goin thru, but for anyone goin thru it, anything is possible. It doesn’t always get better but you do. | Posted on 12/Dec/2019 03:45:44
