My dear sister @blaine_trump introduced me to the brilliant
Dr. Valentin Fuster who diagnosed my heart disease way back in 2010 and because of him I’m alive today.
I trusted this man when he said my heart was in need of repair and I needed open-heart surgery. I trusted him when he told me I would have my heart disconnected from my body for 22 minutes. I trusted him when he said everything would be alright!
Because of Dr Fuster’s compassionate genius, I’m alive to tell it and I am healthier than I’ve ever been in my entire life married to @ricardolugochicago the man of my dreams with @jakelugo_ a child born of my heart. To watch Ricardo insist on thanking him personally and shake his hand nearly took my breath away. It was such a beautiful moment. ❤️
I owe Dr. Fuster everything.
As I said, during my tribute to him, if I could sing, I would sing, “To Sir With Love” to him every day of my life!
