Tanushree Dutta Instagram – There is an ancient reason why in Hinduism/ Sanatan Dharma our Gods & Goddesses were always depicted larger than life and idols made of mud representing divine entities were made very big & towering over humans. The mud represents the 3d density of time space & matter. That’s why in every religion they say mitti ka bana insaan. Because this body turns to dust eventually when buried or goes back to the basic 5 elements if cremated…no matter how big one think one is in life it all turns to dust one day. The larger than life idol represents their conciousness that is much more vast than an average human mind & awareness. Since a supernatural being cannot be seen with naked eyes nor its conciousness be realised by lesser mortals the idols were given attributes and larger than life shape & form. It is to make a regular person realise it’s subordination in the spiritual realm. When we know we are subordinate naturally we will bow down & be humble. When we are humbled we are open to receive their divine grace & help. Much before we humans were created they were created by the creator God Brahma ji & Mahadev Shiva who is the father of our religion. Therefore we bow down to them in reverence of their spiritual seniority. We need their blessings and blessings come when we pray, ask and humble ourselves. The pooja path and vedic mantras invoke their energy presence in a particular location in space time matrix. They reside in a realm beyond so these processes are done to invoke & manifest their energy presence so devotees can bathe in that grace. The rituals prepare the human energy field to receive and partake in their energy & when we fold our hands we show our act of submission towards someone who can help us. God has created every thing thus God dwells in everything and Every thing is God. There is nothing else but God in creation. And the all sovereign God can manifest in any shape or form as he wills. He can make himself known without any form if he wills. It depends who is spiritually ready for what. Hindu religion is hundreds of thousands of years old and thus we have many different ways of approaching this divine reality. 🙏🙏🙏
