6LACK Instagram - fun fact: the ridiculously talented group of people that put this song together (@smilehighmusic @themainsqueeze), were my neighbors for years & we never got to meet or speak to each other until the moment they were moving out. in between crazy tour/recording schedules, i would always hear them playing live music in the backyard, and had i just peeked over the fence a little sooner, who knows what we would’ve done— all to say, here we are. and here’s a glimpse of what we can do. no longer neighbors, but life long friends, and able to craft a song that includes the best of us. “Kinks” is about working out all the little details of life, that aren’t always fun but definitely necessary. and no better way to work it out than with @thequincat 💐 KINKS by @themainsqueeze @smilehighmusic— assisted by the SIHAL duo, out now, link in story
