Adam Conover Instagram – Writers just voted 99% in favor of to ratifying our new contract, officially bringing an end to the strike. I’m still processing my emotions, so here’s a dump from the last two weeks: 1) thousands of writers giving our Chief Negotiator @ellestn a standing ovation at the Palladium 2) hugging @angelinaburnett, my sister forever 3) our incredible Director of Research Laura Blum-Smith getting the ovation she deserves 4-6) the Negotiating Committee and staff who led us steadfastly through the strike. Will be grateful to these folks for the rest of my life 7) with @whipsical. I gave her her first writing job on ARE, and it’s been such a joy to watch her grow into one of the most impactful members of our Guild. Now someone hire this woman – she’s an incredible writer!
