Anthony Rapp Instagram – Straight from the absolutely packed @sagaftra picket lines today, know this chant to their Negotiating Committee we echo to our union siblings until the AMPTP comes back to the negotiating table to offer them a fair contract: “We have your back!” The studios antics as @jillhennessyofficial and @albinokid1026 put it, “Only lighting a fire under us.” Because as former 2x @sagaftra President @rdmasur reminds, this is the most important, existential, future looking strike he’s ever been a part of in his 53 years working in the business. @sagaftra standing on the shoulders of what the WGA achieved and not willing to accept anything but a contract that protects ALL their members. Knowing our worth and strength in standing together across this industry. Our unwavering solidarity, the difference. Or as @rdmasur so eloquently put it, “You know, individual twigs get broken, but when you got a bundle it’s very hard to snap them, and we gotta be a bundle of twigs. We have to stay connected to each other.” Let’s continue to be a bundle of twigs! One day longer, one day stronger.
