I would like to thank the people who have supported me from the very first day. I would like to thank my director, producers, fellow actors, and every department for making this film a reality and courageously bringing up such sensitive topics in Thailand. My journey as an actor has not been easy. There were many times that I almost gave up. However, thanks to the film ‘DOI BOY’ which was selected and screened in Busan International Film Festival and this award, it made me realize how much I love being an actor. In this film, I played as an undocumented immigrant, a sex worker, and a marginalized Shan person. I hope everyone who watches this film will pay attention to their story and advocate for their equality as fellow human beings. I believe that cinema has the power to create change.
