D.J. “Shangela” Pierce Instagram – One of my favorite nights on @dancingwiththestars 💕 #MostMemorableYear … 1999 was the year. It was also my PROM year (which was actually the theme). Waiting for Tonight (Hex Hector remix) was the song. And I got to live out my @jlo DRAG fantasy on stage. I’ll forever cherish this cha cha moment with @glebsavchenkoofficial (my partner and choreographer)💃🏽 From the wardrobe, makeup, hair and troupe dancers to the music, vocals, audience and production, I was so happy how it all came together. And we got our first 9 that night!! Big love to @carrieanninaba @derekhough @brunotonioliofficial and the legend Mister Len ❤️ also luv to @tyrabanks and @therealalfonsoribeiro. And of course all y’all who texted SHANGELA to 21523 … What a memory. Good luck to everyone dancing tonite for #MostMemorableYear. Mine was my Prom year. And 2022 is now added to my list.
