Dave Leduc Instagram – Its official. I will be fighting my retirement fight against Prom Samnang, current champion and biggest star of Cambodia on November 5 in Phnom Penh City. This will be the biggest fight in Cambodia’s thousands of years of history and the entire country of 16,000,000 & my fans worldwide will be watching. The new Prime Minister of Cambodia Hun Manet has officially invited us to meet him before the fight, which as never been done before. This fight will be gigantic.
This year Samnang won the 2023 Thai Fight Kard Chuek championship title and he just won Gold medal at the SEA Games (guess who was against him in the finals? Myanmar 🇲🇲 Tun Tun Min) So he won on points against my nemesis at the SEA games. He has 150 fights, 140 wins, 73 KOs and he’s currently on a 32 fights winning streak. Respect, but Imma show him who’s the real king. I am excited for the challenge. What’s even more exciting is that we will fight like ancient warriors: KO to win (no scoring system), traditional Kun Khmer ropes (see pic) and 1 single round of 9 minutes (no rounds).
Lethwei rules was out of the question for them so we’re meeting on “neutral rules”.
