Devon Gilfillian Instagram – Today is the day my beautiful fam 🥺. My second album, “Love You Anyway,” is out NOW. These songs are a reflection of me and the current state of the world. Reflections of me fully accepting and loving myself so that I could fully fall in love with my brown sugar queen. 🍑 💜 Reflections of the persistent problems in our country – some that we are facing TODAY as legislators are being wrongfully expelled from the TN House of Representatives; the anti-LGBTQIA+ laws being passed; the voting laws in GA, TN – and the South – making it harder to get our voices heard. Reflections of the hard work it takes to dialogue with those with whom we disagree, to escape our echo chambers so we can get to know our neighbors. I’m so grateful for everyone that helped me bring these songs from start to completion.
