The official music video for ‘Now And Then’, directed by Peter Jackson, is live on @thebeatles YouTube channel.
Peter describes finding “a collection of unseen outtakes in the vault, where the Beatles are relaxed, funny and rather candid. We wove humour into some footage shot in 2023. The result is pretty nutty and provided the video with much needed balance between the sad and the funny.”
“I realised we needed the imagination of every viewer to create their own personal moment of farewell to The Beatles”
Jackson concludes by saying he has “genuine pride” in the finished piece, his first ever music video “and I’ll cherish that for years to come”.

“[Roy] had the most incredible voice. He’d had so many hit songs and people could sit and listen to him all night. He didn’t have to do anything, he didn’t have to wiggle his legs, in fact he never even twitched, he was like marble. The only things that moved were his lips — even when he hit those high notes he never strained. He was quite a miracle, unique.“ – George

“I have never thought of myself as someone who writes songs as a craft. Many songwriters do. I suppose I have seen it that way without being conscious of it, but not often. Mainly the object has been to get something out of my system, as opposed to ‘being a songwriter’.” George

“Material World… is the realisation that ‘we are not these bodies,’ we are in these material bodies in the physical world. It does not mean ‘material’ puerly in terms of money: the material world is everything which is gross, physical, or material as opposed to the subtle, astral or casual.” George
This week on Dark Horse Radio we celebrate the life of singer/songwriter/performer and friend, Gary Wright. Host Laura Cantrell remembers Gary Wright by spotlighting his musical friendship with George.
