Harvey Fierstein Instagram – Lovers of Coney Island will recognize the face of TILLY, the mascot of fabled STEEPLECHASE/THE PAVILION OF FUN. This 85 lb solid cement visage was ripped from the building and left smashed in the sand by none other than Donald Trump and his brother after Daddy Trump bought the property. Photos of the smashed pieces ran in the local papers. Someone gathered them up and restored it leaving the scars as evidence of the evil act. I have it at the moment but will eventually donate it to a Coney Island or Brooklyn Museum.
