Jeremy Jones Instagram – As a failure of traditional schooling my inspiration and education has come from reading books and surrounding myself with people/mentors who were further down the path. Obi Kaufmann (@coyotethunder) had a huge influence with his books. I have gifted his book #californiafieldatlas more than another book. His writing and art is on such another level that I am smart enough not to try to emulate. “Don’t meet you heroes” is a common phrase.  While I just spent a few days with my art and literature hero at the @coastfilmfestival and it was awesome. His passion for art, literature and environment is like nothing I have seen. Or rather his ability to articulate it. One of the pics is from my journal from Yosemite.
