Not only was he so funny, his commitment to Pee Wee floored me. This incredible bow-tied icon was a revelation. Those specials also introduced me to another comic genius, Phil Hartman, in Capt Carl. I never saw such imagination and heart work together so flawlessly in comedy before. And of course the laugh. The best of them all. Thank you, Paul. You will be missed.
