We’ve done just that in the years since – and we know there’s much more work to do. That’s why we’re launching the Canada-EU Green Alliance and the Canada-EU Digital Partnership, increasing our collaboration under Horizon Europe, working together on the Global Carbon Pricing Challenge, and more. Heat pumps are also 2 to 3 times more efficient than home heating oil. So, in other words, they are better for both your wallet and our environment. And that’s exactly why we’re working with provinces and territories – and tradespeople, like the students we spent time with in St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador today – to roll out heat pumps and help people make the switch off home heating oil. 🇨🇦 Les propriétaires d’habitation qui abandonnent le mazout de chauffage domestique pour adopter la thermopompe peuvent économiser jusqu’à 2 500 $ par année sur leur facture d’électricité.
