Kraig Adams Instagram – Overnight alone in the Three Fingers Lookout. Great bike and hike up to overnight in the lookout. Parked and biked up 10 miles and hid my mountain bike near the trailhead. Didn’t see a single person and slept all alone in the hut. Little dusting of snow at the top. No spikes or equipment needed to ascend. Straightforward trail up to the ladders. No bugs, no wasps, no rain, no ice. Fall colors are just starting to change mid Oct.
Left the lookout at 7am after sunrise. Was a cold and windy night so happy I had the shelter instead of a tent. Super windy on the initial descent but quickly made my way back down to the trailhead and hidden bike. Riding the remaining 10 miles down was a nice time and saved so much time.
