Matthew Hussey Instagram – I want to give a huge thank you to the people behind our wedding, @lyndenlane. @lyndenlane are renowned event planners and interior designers, but I came across them because they planned my friend’s wedding. Live events are something I’ve had a passion for since starting my company, and my standards are HIGH! But this was one of the most beautiful events I’d ever seen. As a result, we had our hearts set on working with them and they completely blew us away . . . 🕯️ When Audrey and I expressed we didn’t want to spend a fortune on flowers, they went out and bought an insane number of candles and hung string lighting for a third of the price. The result was absolutely breathtaking (see pic). 🍴They brought their own silverware in an extra (and undoubtedly VERY heavy) piece of luggage they lugged all the way to Italy because they preferred it to the silverware the venue provided. 🪡 When Audrey’s dress broke right before the ceremony, they calmly sewed her back into it on the spot! 🪩 They anticipated Audrey’s feet hurting during the party so had bought ahead of time a pair of comfy sneakers for her to change into late in the evening. 🤍 They learned all our family members’ names and faces before the wedding day so they could make each and every one of them feel special when they got there. This is to name but a few unbelievable details-(remember what I’ve said before about the trash cans? [IYKYK] Well, @lyndenlane show what this looks like in action). And this is just what they did on the weekend. They also spent a year executing our dream vision for our wedding, as well as helping us understand what that was. It was extraordinary. We learned so much from working with them that I’m now thinking of doing an entire podcast with them on how to plan an unforgettable event—whether it’s a wedding, a special birthday party, or any kind of seasonal event.
