La “Mêlée des Chœurs”, dont je suis le parrain, a été initiée par le Comité d’Organisation France 2023 avec le ministère de l’Éducation nationale, la Maîtrise Populaire de l’Opéra-Comique et le soutien du Ministère de la Culture Français. Ce projet unique a permis à 7 000 enfants de vivre une expérience inoubliable en interprétant les hymnes nationaux des 48 matchs de la Coupe du Monde de Rugby France 2023.
En quelques mois, ces enfants, du CM1 à la Terminale, ont reçu une formation dédiée pour apprendre à chanter les hymnes nationaux des 20 pays participants à la compétition. Accompagnés par 300 professeurs de l’Education Nationale, ils ont également appris la culture, l’histoire et la langue de chacune de ces nations. Demain, je me produirai avec eux lors de la finale de la Coupe du monde de rugby !

It has been the most intensely creative few weeks… New music launched, video shoots, concerts, final preparations and rehearsals for the performance at the final of the Rugby World Cup on Saturday, tour announcements, filming for the new season of ‘The Piano’ with @langlangpiano and @claudiawinkle across the UK and preparing for the album release on the 1st of December!!! It’s a circus but a furiously joyous and creative one!
Tune into the Rugby final this Saturday at 20:45 French time to see me and almost 100 children perform just before the match. Working with the kids for this has been such a pleasure and we hope to deliver something magical for you all! Xx

I’ve been working with my friend Job for over ten years. Sculptor, artist and designer, his atelier is a secret wonderland from which he creates art that can be found in museums and galleries across the world. We have created several tours and sculptures together but never filmed anything for a video.
For the first time he opened the doors to his incredible atelier and allowed me to shoot my new music video for Apocalypse Calypso. It was like being allowed to play in a beautiful psychedelic parallel world.
Chris Turner the director took on the challenge of capturing me with these beautiful pieces of art and I created the custom looks for Atelier Mika together with @brunosimeone
