Rafael dos Anjos Instagram – On August 12th, I experienced a tough loss. My performance and strategy didn’t meet expectations, but I’m still here with a feeling of gratitude for not being injured. This sport is challenging, and sometimes we make it look easy, but it involves daily battles that many people have no idea about, both physically and mentally, for those who have been fighting at a high level in UFC main events for 15 years. Now it’s time to recover and focus on my next goal.
I want to express my gratitude to my team for their dedication during training and their constant push for me to be the best I can be.
To all the fans and friends, I appreciate your support and encouragement. Your words and cheers gave me an extra boost in the octagon.

No dia 12 de agosto, experimentei uma derrota amarga. Meu desempenho e estratégia não corresponderam às expectativas, mas mesmo assim estou aqui com um sentimento de gratidão por não estar machucado. Este esporte é desafiador e, às vezes, fazemos parecer fácil, mas é uma batalha diária à qual nos expomos, e muitas pessoas não têm a menor ideia do que isso significa, tanto para o corpo quanto para a mente de quem luta em nível profissional, em eventos principais do UFC há 15 anos. Agora é hora de levantar a cabeça e mirar meu próximo objetivo.
Agradeço à minha equipe por todo emprenho durante os treinamentos e por me impulsionar para ser sempre a minha melhor versão.
Para os fãs e amigos, apesar do resultado, cada palavra de encorajamento e torcida funcionaram como um impulso extra no octógono.
À minha família incrível, meu porto seguro e fonte inesgotável de amor. Quando os tempos ficam difíceis, são vocês que me dão suporte com um amor incondicional.
