Hi everyone, some of you may have noticed my absence from social media for some time now, and I wanted to make this post in the hopes of being able to move forward in the healthiest way I can. Two weeks ago while away at a gig I got news that my mum was going to pass. My biggest fear was finally realising.. but thanks to my mum’s boundless strength she held on until I was able to arrive, and my sister and I saw her off to her very last moment. Some of you may remember me speaking about the strong bond my mum and I shared on Drag Race, and this last year trying to accept my mum’s declining health and mortality has been the single hardest obstacle I have ever had to face. I’ve been so crippled with anxiety and depression over the thought of her leaving this earth that I found as time went on I just simply couldn’t function as a “normal” human being. The most menial tasks like posting on social media just became too much, knowing that sooner rather than later I would lose my biggest fan, my biggest supporter and the unconditional love she provided me. Yesterday we held her funeral, and while I’m not ready to say goodbye, I promised my mum in her last moments that I would carry on for her, and I am beyond thankful that she and my love for her has been immortalised forever through the medium of TV. I know it will take some time for me to truly process the grief I’m feeling, but I will do my best to keep that promise I made to her, and if I can muster even half of the amount of strength that she had, I’ll know it’s because she instilled that in me. I love you Mum ♥️

Well you can only imagine my surprise, when at the moment I jumped from the plane and landed, I look up at the sky to find another fire rainbow floating above me. I knew in that moment that my mum was not only watching over me, but she was there with me as I floated through the clouds 💔🌈 I can’t express how thankful I am to the @pahospice and @goskydiveuk for allowing me to have this amazing experience.
