Varun Mitra Instagram – This picture has a special story .
Many years after this picture was clicked, I was in class 11 in the Shri ram school …
There was this girl in my bus who I had a crush on , and I finally managed to gather the courage and ask her out . I actually asked her if she wanted to be my girlfriend … haha . She said yes .
We used to sneakily hold hands in the bus …
It had been 2 months and all my friends said that now mitra you have to kiss her . Needless to say I was very nervous and dint even think I knew how to kiss … there were many opportunities when we were alone but I just cont get myself to “make a move “ (as my friend Mattoo would say it ) .
Then one day , she had come over to my place … and I was showing her an album of my childhood pictures (to which I knew I would get an awwww kind of reaction) .
She flipped through the album, and she was like “so cute” n all that for some of the other pictures she saw.
Then she came to this Spider-Man one … and she just paused … and there was silence … she kept looking at it … then she looked at me … I smiled … she smiled… and then she came forward and just kissed me !

It was a memorable moment – my first kiss.
Not going to name the girl or tag her – but you know who you are .
