This was my audition for #TheKeralaStory .We are screening at #IFFI2023 this year. I won’t be able to make it to the Red Carpet because I’m shooting in the jungles for #Bastar (hoping to get space in your hearts for this one too)

Malayalam is not the language I think in (since I’m born and brought up in Maharashtra) when doing this audition I wasn’t sure if I was doing the film (you never know kab replace ho jaoge 👹👻)

The scene was given to me ..I had half n hour to prep (so forgive any mistakes here)
.
I called my real life mother and took help to do this scene with my reel life mother.Also no pressure but I was told that the audition would be watched by the all the girls in Kerala and some very important decision makers also😬.I usually give horrible auditions because 7 people give different instructions so I’m usually confused. But I think this was among the ones with the most truth, best instructions and also because we saw some very disturbing material before doing it🍎 Thank u Sudipto sir and Vipul sir for giving me the opportunity to shine ❤️

For those who don’t understand Malayalam I’m telling my mother to resuce me from Syria where I’m held captive. Also I have to finish the call in under a minute because if we are caught , we will all be shot dead because women are not allowed to have phones in terror camps.
From creating new words like “lu” to revealing who will play her in her biopic, this #TalkingStage with @adah_ki_adah was a blast! 🤣🤭
