Joy to hold space for this conversation with him, the remarkable director @rogerrosswilliams , the FIRST African American director to ever win an academy award, and @maraakil , with whom I a little bit obsessed because having loved her work for years (special shout out for Being Mary Jane) in person she is a force of nature, beautiful, kind, and so generous
