Akshata Sonawane Instagram – My late Diwali post: This Diwali was away from home and it was just..well.. HOME ❤️ I celebrated the festival with the love of my life, with my future in-laws and friends turned family, nothing could have made it more festive ✨ Cleaning MY house for Diwali, lighting it up, elevating the decor with my small flower rangoli, performing the poojas while my mother-in-law explaining the Telugu Rituals, celebrating with my new family, attending an amazing Diwali party hosted by @rashi.real , vibing on Bollywood songs and lighting up some sparkles cuz I hate crackers lol.. the day was so long and yet went by pretty quickly! But my favourite part of the day was driving back my boo and him playing loud songs for me, both of us singing our hearts out. I watched him shed few happy tears while he told me how this is his dream come true 🥺 It was 3 am when we reached home and I made dosas for him cuz he was hungry. CORE MEMORY 🫶🏻 It’s so beautiful sometimes you do these little things not knowing you are creating your own little rituals. So many firsts this year, but the first Diwali celebration at my new house with my new family holds a special place in my heart! ❤️ Hyderabad
