Amanda Fuller Instagram – Happy HERD day! @herd.film is a project that embodies the term “independent film” in every way. Only made possible by the actual blood, sweat and tears of its cast and crew; the generosity of community (filmed all in the small town director extraordinaire @steve_pierce grew up in!); the mind melding of a producing team brave enough to wear all of the hats and do whatever it takes ( @mygothamcity , @momundy , @mgmtmaven ); the passion and fearlessness and GRIT of an unmatched leading cast (@ellenadairg , @lilmitz_ , @jeremysholm , @timvmurphy , #corbanbenson , @machetethunderpants , @jeremyalawson, @eyeofthesnyder and others); the brilliance of cinematographer @brennan_full who literally created light where it didn’t exist; all at the helm of our steadfast and unshakable leader @steve_pierce . A feat to say the least, conquered with such love and respect and humor and camaraderie. I was honored to witness it all first hand. A beautiful reminder of what filmmaking could and should be. Tonight , with the grace of @SAG ‘s interim agreement (thank you God!), we get to come together once again, and celebrate this very well-deserved accomplishment! Thanks for asking me to be a part of the magic, guys. Can’t wait to celebrate you ALL at the premiere tonight!!!
