Anne Curtis Instagram – It’s children’s day tomorrow. In the Philippines, we are no strangers to climate change and the effects it has on our country – one of the biggest has been typhoons. Children in the Philippines have shared that this has been a cause for their “eco-anxiety”, specially during “typhoon season” as I said in my speech today. U-report philippines has shared that about 47% to do not know how they can help or what they can do to help the current climate crisis. We as adults or parents should bring this conversation to the dinner table because it could ignite a spark in them to create awareness or do their part to fight it to help ease their eco-anxiety. I pray that all children will have a peace of mind but as children’s day is upon us, I also pray for peace all over the world. Every child has the right to feel safe, secure, heard and loved.
