I loved meeting you yesterday and you really are the master of the bob 😎 @thehairbros Side note: I can’t explain how liberating it is to have my long hair cut short. Elle @elle_la_vie helped me first a few months ago, I went from waist length to shoulder length hair. She also expertly removed all traces of the black dye I had for my last film without damaging my hair. And then Nick @nicklatham_ created the bob meant for me 🥹 Since I could remember, I’ve always had long (always dyed black) hair for my roles. And that really is the standard of what a beautiful Filipina is, isn’t it? But I tend to associate how I look with moments in my life. And Manila will always have me and my long black hair and London now has me in this phase of my life. Short enough hair that I’m reminded where I am every time the wind blows and I feel the chilly air on my neck, in a colour as close as I’ve been to my real hair colour in a long time. I’ve never been sentimental or scared about cutting my hair because it grows back so quickly 😂 but I always think of work… I’m happy I finally went for my dream cut. If you guys could take a look a my photo gallery and see how many times I’ve saved @taylorlashae ‘s photos in the last 10 years, it might look like I know her and we hang out 😂😂😂 so I went for it and Nick modified it to suit my face.
