Brittany Packnett Instagram – @gucci changemakers. chapter v. ***APPLY for the Changemaker Impact Fund and Scholarships at https://equilibrium.gucci.com/*** in the home of gogo and movements, power and culture, where everything you love was given to you by people of color, we launched the fifth chapter of Gucci’s Chnagemaker investments. Since 2019, our mighty band of changemaker council members have worked hand in hand with Gucci designers and executives at the very top. We’ve advised on equity advancements that have been made within the house, and on how and where and in whom to invest in. $6.5M later in scholarships, impact funding, and investment in emerging creators from marginalized backgrounds later, I’m so proud to be a part of this work—and y’all know I am P I C K Y. When COVID came, these funds never diminished, and this program was not only protected but a fully integrated, longitudinal part of the work and story. And to top it off, I had the honor of narrating our new hero spot for Changemakers—and moderate a panel of the most brilliant, innovative, unapologetic young Black women creators, artists and leaders spaces like this have ever seen. We are on incredibly good hands. We are changemakers. And we act like it.
