Not so much Travel north or travel south? I never get what they’re raving about When I leave it to friends and along just follow I seem to regret where I end up tomorrow Right or left, up or down Then I face plant to the ground Zig or zig, dash around South or north, north or south? I get bewildered by the wilderness Run away into suspiciousness East or west ? Back and forth ? Til I dread walking out the door ! So many paths, so many journeys Others have travelled I’ve been in no hurry , It’s all those highways! It’s all those trails! What if I fall, what if I fail? Maps are meant for navigation the thought only gives me trepidation! East or west? West or south! North or east? Roundabout! It seems Worrying about life though Hasn’t gotten me very far, As The same place I have stayed My footprints Have made not one single mark … So of all these potential paths To go the very best one Guess I’ll never know!
