Emily Alexandra Guglielmo Instagram – Back in 2019 the @supportingwater team went to Yauco, Puerto Rico, on a mission to help communities in the mountains. We partnered with @waterislife to bring a wind and solar powered water filtration system 💨 ☀️ A couple years prior to this, millions of Puerto Ricans were in a humanitarian crisis when category 4 Hurricane Maria hit. According to Mercy Corps, this storm strike caused as much as $94.4 billion in damages. Several years later (still to this day), many people in Puerto Rico are still recovering from the aftermath. We believe it’s important to help empower local communities so they can sustain situations now and in the future 🙏
