Ginny Buckley Instagram – This little girl is me! On #internationaldayofthegirl the advice I’d give to my little self – and all the little girls out there – is to stay curious and don’t be afraid to ask questions.
Questions are brilliant as they help you understand stuff – and people.
It can take a lot of confidence to ask a question; you might feel that you should already know the answer, or that your question is silly, or that you’ll be judged by others because of what you want to ask.
But ask your question anyway, because curiosity is how we learn and I wish I’d had the confidence to ask more questions when I was younger – particularly in my teenage years, when a fear of what others thought about me often held me back.
Be curious, be bold, be brave and do your very best to always be kind.
