A sweet treat or a thoughtful gift,
Simple things that can mean so much,

The power of small things is not to be ignored,
For they can open hearts and break down walls,
They can bring a smile to a weary face,
And show someone they’re in the right place.
A listening ear, a shoulder to cry on,
A hug to make the pain be gone,
Small things that can make a day,
And help us find our way.
We need not look for grandiose,
To see the beauty life bestows,
For in the small things we can find,
The power to heal and realign.
