Jazz Jennings Instagram – Let trans people pee in peace! 🏳️‍⚧️❤️ Florida and many other states continue to attack trans people. In the past two weeks in Florida alone: – A bill was passed that allows a court to intervene to temporarily remove a child from their home if they receive gender-affirming treatments or procedures, – A bill was passed that restricts teachers, faculty and students from using the pronouns of their choice in public schools. – A ban on lessons on sexual orientation and gender identity from grades 4-12 was approved – The bathroom bill highlighted in this video was passed and could make it a misdemeanor trespassing offense for someone to use certain bathrooms that don’t align with their sex at birth. All of these bills and bans will have a direct affect on me and many other transgender individuals. It’s an attempt to eradicate trans people and scare us from living as our most authentic selves. This is evil. We must all stand up and speak out to stop people in power from believing that attacks on LGBTQ rights can be used to further a political agenda.
