Being snarky in the comment section or humiliating others for not agreeing or not knowing as much as you think you know does not make you an activist the most radical form of activism is nurturing light- growing consciousness – activating peace . It’s hard work. That’s why so few do it. Peace is an active principle – not passive. It requires being consistently: cooperative, listening, Practicing tolerance of varying view points, Generosity, Being uncomfortable, Seeing where you can meet How many of those can you say you do? How many can I say I do? We should not claim to want peace if we can not act in this way If all we do is try to eliminate what we can’t find peace with- it is not peace, It’s abuse. Amd it’s no better than what’s happening abroad. Power OVER is abuse. Power WITH is creation. That is the heart of the problem as I see it. Here is to power with. Here is to heart. Here is to practicing the active principles of peace in a small way- here together, and knowing it’s not enough, but at least it’s a ripple in the ocean in which we ALL move and exist and have our being.
