Karina Sorelli Instagram – Morning debrief for this legend Andres, @mentaltoughness who finished his 100 mile race (about 166kms for him) after 36hours and a bit, in the cold, stormy, rainy, frozen, foggy, Falls Creek and around! He didn’t stop or sleep for ALL THAT TIME! He was incredible! Truly! He inspired us all! Even the other runners and staff who were helping along the way! Everyone who has met him, said he was always happy and positive, despite the pain in his feet, legs, butt, back and being frozen!
Everyone remembered his name as he kept cheering and motivating the other runners to not give up! He barely can walk now due to the pain so he’ll be resting his body for the next few days. But WOW! He left me speechless and in awe!
He truly is an amazing soul! I’m so grateful to have been a part of this journey/adventure of his!
We love you Andres and we wish you nothing but the best and a great speedy recovery! Can’t wait for the next challenge! 👊🏽🔥
