Katie Couric Instagram – More than a month ago, I spoke with Yoni Katz Asher, whose wife Doran, and daughters Raz and Aviv (4 1/2 years old and 2 years old) were kidnapped in an unprecedented surprise attack on Saturday, October 7. On Friday, the family reunited with one another at the Israeli Schneider Children’s Medical Center. ❤️❤️❤️ Yoni shared a statement after his family’s safe arrival, saying, “I am determined to help my family recover from the trauma and the terrible ordeal we’ve endured, all for the sake of our children and Doron.” “Though challenging days still lie ahead, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to our sons, who endured great suffering, as well as to the IDF, the Israeli government, and the Security Cabinet for their dedicated efforts. I extend my thanks to the wonderful people of Israel for their unwavering support.” “A profound thank you goes to the Families of the Captives organization, which tirelessly works towards bringing them all back. While I am overjoyed to have my family back, it’s important to acknowledge that there are still people in captivity at this very moment, whose hearts are shattered. Katie Couric Instagram – The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said 13 released Israeli hostages had entered Israeli territory late Friday, November 24, hours after they were freed as part of a four-day ceasefire. The freed hostages had received an initial medical assessment and were being taken to Israeli hospitals where they would be reunited with their families, the IDF said. A total of 24 hostages were released by Hamas on Friday, the Qatari government said, including 10 Thai nationals and a Filipino citizen.
