Lauren Tom Instagram – Still trying to process this loss… I feel so blessed to have been a part of #friends. My first episode was in season 2 when the show began to sky rocket in the ratings. I think sometimes when a massive success occurs suddenly, it can feel like a crisis, and I was struck by the close bond that all 6 actors shared. It’s as if they were holding each other tight during a wild ride. My first day on the job was also my birthday, and I remember that Courtney Cox had arranged a lunch for all of us in a private dining room on the Warner Bros. lot. All of them were so incredibly sweet and welcoming to me. And I will always remember Matthew’s kindness and his generosity as a person and an actor. When a colleague and contemporary passes, it’s such a sobering shock. Let’s hold our loved ones close as we mourn this beautiful, gifted, soul who struggled mightily and brought joy to so many. #RIPMathewPerry 💔
