Lennon Parham Instagram – Last week I had the honor of reading (and hearing read) several poems and excerpts from @bydanobrien ‘s new poetry collection “Survivor’s Notebook” and his memoir “From Scarsdale”. The night was both to raise money for @su2c (Stand Up 2 Cancer) and to celebrate three literary works many years in the making. I was worried I would cry through the whole thing, and I almost did, but the most enduring emotion from the night was hope.

An audience of loved ones, friends, family and strangers came together to share the evening, the beautiful words, the laughter and to lift up these two amazing people. Thank you Dan & Jess. I think we all now are locked into one big Queen Bee scenario or else a new Westside theatre troupe. The Queen Bee Players?
