Lilly Singh Instagram – Today is my mom’s birthday, so I teamed up with @fourseasons to spoil her. #ad It’s fitting that today is also #WorldKindnessDay because since I was a little girl, my mom has always emphasized kindness. My first experience in supporting girls and women was when I was a kid and my mom told us we were going to financially support a young girl in India. I remember in elementary school, my best friends tragically lost their mother, so my mom opened up her home and made them lunch every single day during the school year. Even today, whenever someone is in need, my mom always keeps an open heart and an open mind. She inspires me in so many ways. I try my best to value kindness, for myself and the universe but I’d be lying if I didn’t say it’s also to make my mom a little proud. I’ve worked in the service industry for years of my life, and I know a little kindness can go a long way. I’m grateful I got to spread a little light to these awesome @fslosangeles employees and join forces with Four Seasons for their World Kindness Day campaign this year to inspire more acts of kindness, big or small.
