Although I took it to be a complement, I eventually realized that my improper application of makeup was the reason I used to look awful. And that it was incorrect for me (and a few other makeup artists) to think of applying makeup as a sequenced procedure of applying various products to the face. When it comes to makeup, there are no rules. Act on your gut and in a way that will accentuate your best features rather than alter them.
That’s what this makeup routine does for me. Since then, my makeup vanity has significantly shrunk in size 😊
