Petra Marklund Instagram – Still, I can see quotes popping up in various forums. It makes me so happy! It’s also very amusing how I perceive them in a completely different way now that I’m older. I believe that the lyrics dressed in that catchy, glossy musical costume were one of the reasons we reached such a broad audience, both old and young. I often heard that my voice had a touch of melancholy… Maybe it did. But what I do know is that we were flying ! We argued at times, quite often, if I’m being honest. 😂 But what I really want to say is THANK YOU. Thanks to you, the producer @burg4821 songwriters @niklasvonderburg and @anoobhagavan for these crazy years. I wouldn’t trade them for anything in the world. “For ever and ever life is now or never Forever never comes around “ to quote ourselves! ✌️ And we made Swedish dance and pop music history!! 🤘😎❤️ You always told me, ‘Petra, when you get older, you’ll have time for that jazz!!’ But that will have to wait again! Now it’s going to be acoustic. These songs can stand completely stripped down and take on a whole different dimension, which I’ve always felt and loved about our songs. This summer, I had the opportunity to record for 2 days with some of my favorite musicians, @anna.dager @hannaekstroms @peterkvint (whom I produced this with) and a new and incredible jazz pianist in the group, @joellyssarides !
