Phoebe Dynevor Instagram – #PhoebeDynevor has another career-making role in her sights: a hedge fund employee in Chloe Domont’s film #FairPlay, a thriller that raises some uncomfortable questions about sex and power. “This film was personal to me,” Dynevor says. “Every woman I know, it’s their experience in this world. And with any film with a message, you just really want it to start a conversation.” That’s exactly what it did at Sundance Film Festival, where the audience was buzzing about the film’s meaty themes. A woman came up to Dynevor almost immediately to tell her how much the film had meant to her. Others soon followed. “It was my first film festival, my second-ever film, and I was still aware of how unique and special that experience was, and how it might not happen again or for a very long time.” Dynevor discusses how her life changed after #Bridgerton and making work that matters for ELLE’s October issue.
