Mithila completed a second master’s in early childhood development, which earned her the prestigious Chancellor’s Gold medal. Mithila’s enduring passion for acting started when she became a child actor at the People’s Theatre. Her ascent to stardom began with her debut television drama “Shunchen Ekjon Radio Jokeyr Golpo” in 2006, and her groundbreaking role in the iconic series, “Housefull” in 2008. Mithila is a multifaceted woman, who is constantly juggling television roles in the television industry of Bangladesh, while actively acting in the Bangladeshi and Indian Bengali film industry. She is a successful singer-songwriter of popular songs and has earned prestigious awards for her film work. Additionally, she served as a brand ambassador for BBC Janala, Robi, Meril, Dettol, Hyundai, Singer, and others. Mithila has 15 years of experience working in Africa and Asia as an international development worker. She specializes in Early Childhood Development and is currently leading the same program at BRAC International. Her academic prowess continues as she pursues a doctorate in Early Childhood Education at the University of Geneva, embodying her thirst for knowledge. With a rich background in teaching at prestigious Universities and schools in Dhaka, her diverse talents also extend to literature, having written four children’s books and published academic and non-academic papers in numerous international journals, blogs, and newspapers.
