Reanin Johannink Instagram – I was named after the Fleetwood Mac song ‘Rhiannon’. I was nameless for a few weeks after I was born and one day my dad heard ‘Rhiannon’ on the radio and that was it! Because they only heard it, they spelled it phonetically. From that moment forward I had a deep connection with music and with Stevie Nicks. As a child I remember dancing around the house to her songs with my mother and I always felt so moved and affected by her voice. Something about her energy, her magic, held a strong resonance in my bones. It was a deep love affair. Her music has been an anchor in my life, always helping me to remember who I am when I feel off center.. and last night I got the chance to see her perform at the Hollywood Bowl! I cried, I laughed, I screamed, I danced and I sang my heart out. So many emotions coursing through me. Wow.. she’s so fucking incredible in person!! There aren’t many words that describe her. And to make my whole life, she ended the concert with ‘Rhiannon’!! My heart literally exploded!
