The last 5 Days have been absolutely shocking for the whole world over – as things unfold I struggle to find words of ‘hope’- and it’s ‘hope’we need right now!-The whole thing is savagery & barbaric – and needs to stop NOW which sadly seems unlikely- the fact innocent people, children on both sides have died and dying, the suffering is unbearable- now there needs to be human corridor put in place for everyone who needs to claim safety -emergency food – aid is needed on both sides of the border – – People in Israel need protection and safety what’s happened to them is unfathomable –
I find it hard to comprehend I am currently studying Ahimsa ( walking a non violent path )
It is not the path of the majority because it takes more courage to meet violence with kindness and compassion – and as the Dali lama says ‘the root of happiness is compassion’ ( I know its hard to hear now but we need to work for the most hopeful and positive solution – )
When land, power, religion tears people apart and spills innocent blood on to the streets the human race needs to act faster to come up with a solution to help people so we can find a peaceful outcome – but amongst the people (terrorists and criminals )who have no compassion, only filled with hate, they will continue to carry out these heinous crimes-#letsnotgiveuponhope
