Sharon Rooney Instagram – Challenge Accepted 💖 I was tagged by the beautiful @jadeanouka and my wonderful Wain sister @hayzsquires to do this challenge. I was sitting doing some work on the computer and I instantly took a selfie and came to post it. That was over an hour ago. For all that time I’ve sat and picked apart every single part of this picture. Why? Because my hand looks chubby. I know. That hand that’s done absolutely wonderful things got a lot of hate thrown at it. By me. That wee chubby hand that writes and types and taps on keyboards. That’s held the hands of people i have loved and the hands of people I’ve lost. That’s felt love and will feel love. That hand that was minding its own business and letting me rest my head on it. Then I remembered something. My grans hands. They were the same. Soft and squishy and safe. And that made me smile. So here I am, chubby hand and all 😂💖. I don’t know why i’m sharing this I guess I just wanted to. There’s always going to be something we don’t like and that’s okay but it’s also okay to remind yourself that every bit of you is pretty special. Everything tells a story. It wasn’t ever going to be a perfect picture because I’m not a perfect person. And that’s okay too. So #challengeaccepted✔ and I nominate YOU reading this. Beautiful, brilliant, you 💖
