Sophia Wallace Instagram – A celebratory night restoring Shere Hite to her rightful place. Working on the film itself, a project led by cis and trans women, was witnessing intersectional feminism in action. Our team was intergenerational, multi-national and interdisciplinary. So proud to be a part of this gorgeous film. Also, a huge thank you to @ericafink who searched the NBC archives for Shere after learning of her work for the first time when her obituary was published in the New York Times. It was Erica’s curiosity and determination that sparked this project. Immediately upon hearing the idea, @kim.ferdinando offered her unshakable support and talent Together they pitched this ambitious film indefatigably.
