Sophie Li Instagram – Early early work that I created when, for the shortest couple of weeks in 2019, helping with character concepts on #acrossthespiderverse 😭.
Referencing many early versions of the designs, I was tasked to imagine how the spider gang would spend their time together.
Embarrassing to say, but I was truly out-of-depth seeing all the amazing works done around me, frustrated with how little I could do to help on this crazy production.
Alas now, I can’t wait to finally meet these characters on the big screen with their final form and full galore. I feel honored I get to get a glimpse of the making of the spider universe at the time, and idk, just grateful that Spider-Man exist and we can nerd out together about it… Anyway, ready to be hit in the face by the film and see what my art hero’s and friends has made possible !
